Washington Apple
An apple a day ... Here’s one I had on a layover at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport during the holidays. I asked the bartender to surprise me with something different, and this tasty and tart concoction was surprisingly good and absolutely did the trick. It kept me calm and relaxed at the world’s busiest airport — and that’s no small feat.

Ingredients:
* Crown Royal® – 11/4 ounces
* Apple schnapps – 1/2 ounce
* Cranberry juice – 2-3 ounces

Combine in a shaker, shake it up and pour over ice. Garnish with an apple slice.
